Dr. Jeffrey Shuren, the Center Director of FDA’s
CDRH (Center for Devices and Radiological Health) honors Mentoring Program
Manager Alethia Alford and TTC’s Kathy Wentworth Drahosz with the Director’s
Special Citation Award for the development, implementation and management of a
highly effective and well regarded CDRH mentoring program. This unique program incorporates a variety of program components including
self-assessment tools, courses, shadowing experiences, and other experiential
learning activities. All of these aspects support the active mentoring
partnerships and help participants acquire and/or enhance those competencies
necessary to become a successful government leader and manager. TTC has been partnering with CDRH for the past
10 years and it has been a great honor to receive this award with Alethia!
